Trakai is about 15 miles out of Vilnius. It was the palace of one of the Dukes or Grand Dukes at some point--frankly, I'm struggling to keep it all straight. Mostly, it's a very pleasant and relaxing place. It would have been great to go swimming, but we lacked the appropriate attire.
The castle in the picture was rebuilt in the 1960s.
